Micromax Launched Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro: Check Price Specifications

Micromax, an Indian consumer electronics company, unveiled many new devices at their event at Gurgaon on Wednesday. Not only smartphones, but the company have unveiled new smartphones, new televisions, and new tablets. In total 19 products were launched out, and out of them, 15 are new phones. Among those 15 smartphones, only Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro will be available in India. It doesn’t end here; Micromax has finally changed their logo and branding. According to the company, they are trying to improve software and services a customer expect from its devices.

Micromax Bolt Supreme, Bolt Supreme 2, Bolt Q381, Canvas Spark 2+, Canvas Evok, Canvas Mega 2, Canvas Unite 4, Canvas 6, and Canvas 6 Pro are some of the names of the smartphones that Micromax had launched on Wednesday.


Both Micromax Canvas 6 and Micromax Canvas 6 Pro are 4G enabled, are they were priced at Rs. 13,999 at the time of launching, but as soon as the date for pre-orders has come near, their prices have already gone up. People can per-order both of these devices from Micromax’s official website, and the booking period has already started from Wednesday.

Talking about the specifications, both of the devices are almost similar. Micromax Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro have a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixel resolution) display with 401ppi density. Canvas 6 Pro is powered by 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio MT6795m SoC processor while Canvas 6 is running on unspecified MediaTek octa-core SoC processor. Micromax Canvas 6 is also one of the first Micromax smartphone devices to have a metal body and fingerprint scanner in it.

Canvas 6 have 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage while Canvas 6 Pro have 4GB of RAM and only 16GB of storage. Both of the smartphone devices have a 13-megapixel rear camera which is beautifully built up to take perfect shots. Canvas 6 have an 8-megapixel front-facing camera while Canvas 6 Pro have a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Both of the devices are powered by 3000mAh battery.

A new thing to notice about these two devices is that Gaana app will be the default music player in both of the devices (which you can change later), and both of the devices will come with Around UI on top of Android.

Though Micromax is a new company in the smartphone industry, it is taking over the market with great speed.
