West Bengal CPI (M) leader and Secretary Surjya Kanta Mishra who is contesting assembly election in West Bengal from Narayangarh seat in West Medinipur declared that he owns over 23 lakh worth assets.
According to nomination file filed by mr Surjya Kanta Mishra, he has deposits in three bank accounts including a PPF account which is totals of RS 577959. Mr Mishra owns 14,400 square ft of Non agricultural land and a house which is worth in current market value over RS 12 lakh.
In the city Kolkata he owns a 450 square ft flat which is worth in current market value RS 6 lakh.
The 66 year old leader does not have any dependents and his wife owns jewellery worth RS 2 lakh.
Mr. Mishra, who has done MBBS from SCB medical college in Cuttack, Odisa, has shown liabilities to be zero in the nomination file.
